General Lattice Joins Microsoft for Startups, Enhancing Its Digital Engineering Core on Microsoft Azure
WARRENVILLE, Ill., Oct. 7, 2026 – General Lattice (GL) today announced its acceptance into Microsoft for Startups. The program provides GL with up to $250K in Azure credits, leading AI tools, and access to a global network of Microsoft customers and partners. GL will use Microsoft Azure to enhance the cloud infrastructure behind its digital engineering core, the foundation of both its advanced lattice technology development and its product development.
With Azure's high-performance computing (HPC) and AI capabilities, GL will accelerate its simulation and machine learning work, including surrogate model development and physics-informed neural network (PINN) training.
On the technology side, this work expands GL's understanding of lattice structures and pushes their performance limits. On the product side, it lets GL tune each design to the exact performance a customer requires.
"Our digital engineering core lets us advance the technology and the products built on it at the same time," said Nick Florek, CEO and Co-Founder of General Lattice. "Azure gives us the compute to simulate more, train better models, and deliver products that perform where it matters most."
